Copy places the selected portion of the molecule into the clipboard for a later pasting into the molecule. The coordinates saved are first transformed to the actual coordinates before being placed in the clipboard. If the option key is help down when selecting Copy, the coordinates are not transformed.
On a Macintosh with less than 240K bytes of memory allocated to the application, a picture of the molecule will be saved that just Molecular Editor can read. On a Mac with more than 240K bytes of memory allocated to the application, a picture of the molecule will be saved that can be pasted into other applications such as MacPaint, MacWrite or MacDraw.
